Either cartoons and sci-fi have long been the only place where by thought-provoking social commentary will take place, unmolested [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] by censorship, and both are just about all too frequently dismissed because of the least important characteristics. South Park is definitely intelligent, humorous and thought-provoking show that could be often ignored or decried by those that judge it only by way of the very things it deliberately throws inside their face, such as profanity, basic animation, and graphic assault, because the creators know that people like this are often offended by these things, and will always miss the time. The simplicity of the animation, for example, may be criticised by people who miss the actual that it's deliberately designed to be simple, in the eye of those high-budget major studio cartoons which were more concerned with choosing cgi and selling playthings than having anything to say. Nope, this isn't a show if [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] you don't appreciate irony. The episodes tackle a lot of issues, from 9/11 to violence on television to celebrity obsession to religion, through the use with comedy, which is usually the easiest method to handle such matters.

The chief characters are four children who are basically [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] mouthpieces for their creator's opinions, expressing views that will sound arrogant coming with adults. Stan represents a liberal viewpoint, as does his friend Kyle, who being a practising Jew, allows chance [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] of religious comment. Is that show anti-religious? No, but fundamentalists like to think it is. It has the significant message of 'believe that which you like, but leave myself alone'. And of lessons there's Eric Cartman, your ignorant foul-mouthed selfish redneck, along with funny as hell. Sometimes I believe he's there to remind us to never take anyone like your ex seriously. Other characters relating to the show usually represent majority/opposing views for the plot requires.

Like almost any long-running show, some episodes are superior to others, not all have something to mention, and [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] not all are funny. But creators Gemstone and Parker [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] 'retool' that show periodically with completely new characters, and [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] try to maintain up with current events, and I enjoyed modern series (8th) for these very reasons. I've watched ever since the beginning, but they're striving not to let To the south Park go stale.

No doubt South Park will continue to be derided by those [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] who think the most crucial social problem today can be swearing, yet have probably never sat as small as watch an episode. And beside them is an offended parent brigade [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] who still haven't found that not all cartoons are generally for children. But the rest of us will still be here to relish it, hopefully exchanging righteous indignation for some laughs and maybe your thought or two concerning world we live within. If you've never seen South Park, don't take note on the hype. Watch it and decide for your own [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] use. Hopefully you'll be pleased you did.
